Drive Carefully Signs Installed in Rush thanks to the Rush Henrietta Rotary Club.
Rush residents and members of the Rush Henrietta Rotary Club, Maureen and Steven Neumaier became aware of a problem in their town. Speeding cars in the hamlet was creating dangerous situations for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists. The hamlet is at the intersection of two major roads, Route 15A and Route 251. Maureen and Steve approached Rush Town Supervisor, Dan Woolaver, asking if the town would like some safety signs. The Town Supervisor and Highway Superintendent, David Kyle, were please to receive 5 signs to place in strategic locations.  These signs are single-faced, reflective, size 24" x 36", aluminum gauge .08 and meet or exceed federal road sign standards.  The signs were installed in December of 2024. The reflective material make the signs stand out at night.  The Rush Henrietta  Rotary Club is happy to assist the town of Rush in making the roads safer.
